Shade Parade.

Meet Le Vernis de Chanel (aka Chanel's latest nail varnishes) starring in their very own nail cabaret...

I love how this reminds me of "Matilda" the movie :)

Wedge Heel Trainer.

Just popped onto the Topshop website for my daily 'checking of the new in section' and found these bad boys! They are Topshop's version of this season's wedge heel trainer as previously seen by Isabel Marant, Chloe and Ash. And at only £75 I'm thinking I may have to take a trip down to the shops this morning to try them on. Brown or white? Which do you prefer?

Noemi Klein.

Whilst on my internet travels this evening I came across some exquisitly beautiful pieces by Noemi Klein. Her recent collection has a raw and etheral feel to it which really appeals to me. Oh what I'd do to get my hands on some of these pieces! To check out more from her collection, visit her site here.

Antonio Berardi.

This collection by Antonio Berardi for SS12 has got to be one of my favourites (along with Erdem's) from LFW. Every piece was so striking without being too overwhelming, executed by his choice of adding hints of texture/beading/futurist influences to his classic tailoring. I love how every outfit is so wearable too! I can't get enough of those beaded trousers.

Shit Fashion Girls Say.

The other day I happened to stumble across this hilarious parody of 'Shit girls say' by the one and only 'Bearded Fashionista' (who also happened to be present at NFW wearing a blonde wig and YSL dress)!

Pretty in Pink.

Yesterday was most definitely the first day of spring. The sun was out and shining in all it's glory, so I went in search of a new nail varnish perfect for the occasion. I wanted a pastel colour (but not mint green or baby blue as they were way too over done last year), so I thought I'd go for pink to match my new jeans :) I found the perfect colour called 'Pretty in Pink' by Max Factor. However, upon applying, I quickly realised that it was not the colour it looked in the bottle. It came out as a light neon orange...sounds awful right? But no! It's much better than it sounds. So happy with this purchase! I think I might have to return soon to buy a couple more bottles as I shall be wearing this all summer long!

This week I'm coveting...

I'm seriously needing a holiday right now (uni work is mounting up big time) and I think this reflects in my fashion cravings this week. I think my favourite out of the bunch are the Zara shoes (as always) and the little pink socks, so cute!

Scarf-print.

I wore this new shirt out to dinner the other night just paired with a pair of jeans and some black heels. It's such an easy, no fuss shirt. The print is so bold I didn't even feel the need to wear a necklace with it (which is very unusual for me, as I try and pair a statement necklace with EVERYTHING!). It feels beautiful to wear as well, due to the soft, light weight material. Basically, I highly recommend you order this online as soon as possible before it sells out. Scarf print is big this season!

How to: Prints.

Net-a-porter released 10 trends for the spring/summer season in their latest online magazine issue. I shall be working my own twist on these trends, mixing high street with designer and hopefully aiming to make them more 'wear-able' on a day to day basis. The first of the trends that I shall be tackling is 'Prints'. I know that the 'in thing to do' this season is to mix prints, but I don't think that I would realistically mix two kinds of tropical print together for my daily outfit. So here is a more subdued version:

Elegance.

I cannot believe the bargain I got for this pair of sandals! They are so timeless and elegant, the sort of shoes that you can go back to time and time again. They are such a  classic pair of shoes that can transform any simple look into a sophisticated outfit worthy of any designer label-luster!!! The only thing holding me back is this darn English weather...

Wishing for spring.

I am so bloomin' fed up of this freezing cold weather (-14 degrees yesterday!), that I have decided to just say 'to hell with it' and start wearing my spring clothes already. This was my outfit to see a production of 'Beauty and the Beast' by the Warwick Arts students on thursday night. Three days later and I'm still dreaming of Gaston..ahhh...

Valentines Date: Night in with the girls or snuggling up with the bf.

If you are planning to spend the night in with your girl friends with the good old 'rom com's and a tub (or two) of ice cream, or like me, just want to snuggle up with the boyfriend and eat take-out, then you are going to need some serious comfy-wear (not a word, I know)! I actually spent more time on this one than the previous two date nights...but if you are going to do comfy, you have to do it right.

Valentines Date: Splashing the Cash

With such a show stopping piece as this dress why spoil it by over-doing it on the accessories?! This outfit is sure to be a jaw-dropper ;)

Valentines Date: On a Budget.

Due to the ridiculously heavy advertising, we all know that the day of luuuuurve is very fast approaching. This post is for any of you lucky ladies that have managed to score a date that night ;)
I shall be doing a series of posts for Valentines day. The first is for those of us that are on a bit of a budget this month, the second is for those daring enough to splash the cash on their special night with the loved one, and the third will be for the ladies that are just having a night in with movies and ice cream...I'm thinking a special post full of pyjamas and snugly blankets. :) I have to say that I'm looking forward to the third post most. If it was socially acceptable, I would spend my whole life in pyjamas. Unfortunately it's not, so I shall be taking full advantage of this date to snuggle up with the boyf in my PJ's, eat take-away and watch the box set of the Big Bang Theory!

Obviously we couldn't forget the underwear now could we?
